Free Clinic Announces Opening Date

Mason City, IA- Just in time for the season of giving, a highly anticipated Mason City-based medical clinic is opening for those in need. The Cerro Gordo County Free Health Care Clinic Board is announcing Saturday, November 21st, as its official opening for treatment. The clinic serves the uninsured and underinsured residents of Cerro Gordo County.

Board President Amy Fleming says, "It's very fitting our opening comes right before Thanksgiving. The Board of Directors is so very thankful to all of the generous volunteers who put in countless hours, the generous people of north Iowa who've made donations, and the medical personnel who will give of their time and talents to the free clinic. It's truly an exciting time for our community."

Allison Beattie, RNC-TNP of Sheffield is the Clinic Manager and Dr. John H. Brinkman, M.D. is the Medical Director. The clinic shares space with Lindstrom Family Practice and is located at 1327 Sixth St. SW in Mason City.

This Friday only, patients can call from 1 pm-5pm to make an appointment. After this weekend, those seeking medical attention must call during the clinic's hours of service. Those are every Saturday, between 9 am-Noon.
