Beattie & Brinkman to Lead Free Clinic Team

Mason City, IA- The Cerro Gordo County Free Health Care Clinic Board of Directors, names its medical team.

Allison Beattie, RNC-TNP of Sheffield, accepted the position of Clinic Manager.

"This is truly a great fit," says Board President, Amy Fleming. "Allison serves as Nursing Supervisor at St. Mary's Health Clinics in the Twin Cities. She can continue to do her work there, while bringing her expertise to our clinic."

Dr. John Brinkman, MD of Mason City, will take on the role of Medical Director.

"Dr. Brinkman is so well respected in the community, and I can't think of a better person for this position," says Fleming. "Dr. Brinkman and Allison Beattie make a fantastic team, and it's exciting to see the progress the Free Clinic is making."

The Cerro Gordo County Free Health Care Clinic board is also reminding future patients the clinic is not yet open for medical care.

Board President Amy Fleming says they are looking toward a fall, 2009 opening. No exact date is set. The board, medical advisors and volunteers are working diligently on various aspects of the facility.
